Unconditional Love ( For my Mum❤️

A piano song that I recorded on January 31, 2025. While I have goofed around with piano in my life, I have never ever recorded a track by myself. I just put my cell phone using GarageBand, on my upright piano, and pushed record! I hadn’t even touched the piano in about five years! I sent this over to my awesome online band, Eclectic Collective. They were more than enthusiastic to add some orchestration.! it definitely falls in the classical/rock category! Check out the full version at K2 and the Three! I promise you won’t be disappointed ! Awesome players and producers ! ￼Josh Clary, Stephen Watkins, Mark Boucher, and Tez Terrill! When I came up with my stage name for SoundCloud,
I imagined an old organ grinder with his monkey and money cup,
cranking away on a street corner of an old cobblestone village.
But these days, the street corner was even older, as was the man himself,
along with his old synthesizer. The monkey is long gone, in case you were wondering.

Actually, I was quite surprised when the image that appeared got my glasses and my beard right, and even my blue shirt along with a pocket (where I keep my pocket protecter full of pens and pencils). Heck, it could almost have been my photo.

What to say about Maximilian?
There are so many things to be told: a lifetime of 24 years, full of special moments, joys, fears, sorrows, worries, hopes, dreams, ups, downs, progress, regress, searching, finding, winning, losing, restlessness, peace...
His life had begun with an extremely difficult birth, almost as if the world didn’t want him. They told us he had a life-threatening infection, there were probably holes in his lungs and he obviously had no kidneys. In total, his chances of surviving were exceedingly slim. However, after endless weeks of both despair and hope, he overcame the infection, the diagnosis of holes in his lungs turned out to be totally wrong and they even discovered a kidney.  Just one maybe but at least it worked perfectly.  His journey into existence had begun.
As he grew, so did the never-ending nightmare of problems, challenges and battles, until we began to wonder what could possibly happen next.  Through it all, Max took every opportunity to accumulate extreme experiences - never hiding, always   seeking.  For that, we loved him even more…and even more it broke our hearts that we couldn’t help him find what he was looking for.
But suddenly, as the Summer of 2011 dawned, his troubles seemed to merely fade away.  Was he just arriving in life, coming of age, finding his place in society?  To be honest, we hadn’t the faintest idea.  But it was abundantly clear that, having always been an underdog, that same unwelcoming world had simply started to like and respect him.  He began to realise his many talents, enjoying his job as never before, finally becoming something he had never been - happy.
Fast forward to the gorgeous Summer evening of June 28th, the eve of a 4-week vacation to which he had been looking forward so very much.  A smile on his face, he said he was in the mood to go jogging, something he loved. Sometimes, he ran and ran for ages.  He’d been gone about 3 hours, quite a long time even for him, so Carina called his phone and he answered, cheerfully telling her not to worry and assuring her he’d be home very soon.  Seconds after the call, out of the blue, he collapsed.  A pulmonary embolism.  They told us he died instantly. 
Max, we have no words for what happened, nor for the eternal gratitude we feel for every single second of your life.  We do know we will never stop loving you.”

Here's a song and video that's a bit of a change of pace, a crazy gangster story song from my album "Unhinged" that I recorded back in 2019. A totally made up this rock song and it has a nice riff. This is NOT one of my love songs!😂 It follows these insane bank robbers with serious mental problems! I wanted to make like a little action movie for this song. I'm always trying to make my songs into little films!😁.

    The video is new and took several days to finish since I had so many clips to edit together! I really tried to follow the song as close as I could and I even added a clip from an old Yosemite Sam cartoon of the 40's for comic relief!😂 I had a blast creating the video and I hope everyone enjoys it. Jeff and I are happy to present our first live arena gig! Not really, but you can imagine.  This one started when Jeff was telling me about how he and Jo (sonic structures and silent stretches ) were writing some of their poetry in a stream off consciousness style, writing a line and then handing it off back and forth until it was done.   I suggested maybe we try something like that with the guitars.   So we did.  We exchanged ideas until it felt done and here's where we landed.   
This one was a lot of fun to pull together and really just kind of not think about it as we wrote.
