Club Furies se llena de felicidad con la presentación del enorme proyecto llamado Witches Are Back, colectivo de artistas independientes identificadas como femeninas, originado de las diversas escenas underground, desconectado de las dinámicas del mainstream de negocio, con un fuerte enfoque político de activismo transfeminista interseccional, en donde seres mágicos de todo el mundo se han unido al equipo.

El objetivo es otorgar a los artistas underground más libertad del sexismo y espacios seguros queer para expresarse en eventos profesionalmente organizados.

“Creemos que cada mujer posee el secreto de la vida y una fortaleza poderosísima”.
“Creemos que la música puede conjurar energía y revelar leyes universales”.
“Nos mantenemos unidad y danzamos en el fuego del sabbath del nuevo milenio”. Así de poderoso es el statement.

Ahora, después de dos lanzamientos y buena recepción, el colectivo Witches Are Back debuta propiamente como etiqueta con una compilación Varias Artistas de cuatro pistas asombrosa. Las encargadas para liderar este deslumbrante estreno son Suit Kei, Lady Maru, Akkamiau e Ida Mandato. 

Entre hechizos y brujería, Club Furies agradece inmensamente a Witches Are Back la oportunidad de estrenar la pista de Akkamiau, el proyecto de la compositora y artista de sonido de Lena Kocisova, titulada 'Voltage'.

Portuguese maestro Lewis Fautzi drops his 2nd EP on Soma of 2020 with the State Of Pressure EP. As well as two top drawer original’s from Lewis, the EP feature two specially commissioned remixes from fellow Portuguese rising stars Nørbak & Temudo, both of who have featured this year on Soma to high acclaim. 

Title track State Of Pressure opens and doesn’t mess about as thumping, driving drums lay the foundation before pure, hypnotic rhythms begin their descent as deliver of the typical Fautzi sound. Nørbak’s remix of State Of Pressure takes note of the originals hypnotic vibe offers a deeper and more percussive driven affair. Epidemic Of Wellness has Fautzi working in darker elements and delivering more tension with his use of each particular strain of the track pulsing and modulating perfectly in sync. Temudo closes out the EP with his remix of Epidemic Of Wellness. Always focussing on groove and momentum, Temudo goes sub heavy on his version but retains the dark tones of the original whilst almost adding an Electro-like flex on the groove.
