marvellous tunings, a carnival is coming to an end, but refuses to die

There's a scene in Death's End, the third book of the Three Body Problem series, where three-dimensional space collapses into two dimensional space, but preserves the content. This reminds me of that.

this would be great in a sea life documentary with beautiful colorful fish and animals in the oceans, as it's twinkly, sparkley, and watery and cute. I can see creatures floating and swimming.
