UNSIGNED DJ PRODUCER
Andrew Christie, born in 1972, better known as (Dodge), is an old school DJ who has been mixing tracks since 80’s, when he first heard the art of mixing. Since then he has continued to mix and produce music while evolving alongside the times, and putting his own spin on the music and technology which is relevant at the time. Whether mixing is on turntables, CDJ, 2 or 4 tracks, Controllers, or jamming in the studio with keys, drum machines and working with various DAW’s it’s something he has been familiar with for most of his life.
He plans to get back into more producing music in the winter months and hopes to have a few new house tracks ready for the following summer. 
He’s been known to get so involved with his mixing style and getting down with the crowd that he became a firm favourite at club nights. When it comes to mixing he says it’s not one size fits all as every style and genre of music gives a flow and feeling, which needs to be listened too to enable the mix to happen, whether it be fast and choppy of seamlessly flowing, filtering in the old masters at work style or a variation. It’s not just about track selection it’s also very much about how those tracks are mixed to create that new sound, giving that DJ there unique style and character.
Love big sounds with lots of piano, synths, lovely vocals and let’s not forget the deep BASS and big drum sounds of Deep House. His flavour of music for mixing currently is across all House, although returning to Deep house after a trip to Ibiza. All mixes for Trax Radio are completed at his home studio. For mixing he uses Pioneer DJM 2000 NEXUS, 2 x Pioneer CDJ 2000 NEXUS and a RMX 1000. Also has his trusted old Technics 1210s and sometimes add some extra sounds with Native Instruments Machine. He has a love for mixing and hopes you enjoy listening to the mixes produced. As always, any feedback or comments left on the track good or bad is always welcome.
