When Two Hearts Beat As One

tension is the first track I've worked on since releasing Waiting for Spring.  It is built around a bass sequence played from my Pro-1 synth.  It is layered with rhythmic ideas that are happening in contrasting time signatures, which adds to the tension, musically, and creates a feeling of anticipation and instability.  Other synths used were:  Behringer Crave, Korg Monologue, Roland S-1 and Maschine Micro (drums).  This may or may not be a finished version.

Back in April, me and Bobby got fooled, wow!
For me, I drank the Ai cool aid.
And me and Bobby didn’t know that shit was lame.

This Ai girl, dropped a track about me mostly,
And at the end, she also mentioned Bobby.
She drew me in with a track that sounded sultry.
Thought she had talent, but she was nothin but Ai.

Before we started I asked about her process.
She said I’ll send you an email about that, yes.
But you know what, that email never came.
In my subconscious I knew that shit was lame.

We created a track together.
Thought that shit was dope.
My friend heard it.
And he was like nope!

He showed me why it was Ai.
Lost my motivation to create, no desire.
On top of that, my wife knew something was wrong.
Fake shit created division, and we couldn’t get along.

Ended up in the psyche ward over this stupid shit.
Man, fuck ai and those that deceive with it!

This song, "Mal’ta Boy," is a powerful meditation on ancient human ancestry, genetic memory, and the invisible threads connecting modern people to our prehistoric forebears. It draws heavily on the real-life discovery of a 24,000-year-old boy whose remains were unearthed near Lake Baikal in Siberia, frozen in permafrost for millennia. His genome, sequenced in 2013, revealed groundbreaking insights into human migration: the boy belonged to a population known as Ancient North Eurasians, genetically intermediate between modern Europeans and Native Americans, but distant from East Asians—suggesting early waves of people crossed the Bering land bridge from Siberia to populate the Americas, while others spread westward into Europe. The lyrics frame this as a "ghost in the genome," a silenced voice thawed by science, emphasizing how DNA preserves stories of migration, survival, and shared heritage that echo through time.
