This is a track from my album TALES OF A NOMAD, a collection of impressions from decades of living a nomadic life for professional reasons. It is inspired by the famous ballad by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe from 1782.

Here is the continuation of the first piece "Resonances." The inspiration for "Resonances II" lies in an expressive search where contrasts of tempo, harmonies, and intensity of play dominate. This series pays tribute to the expressiveness of masters such as Rachmaninoff, as was the case for the first "Resonances," but also to film music. This track is my submission for the latest round (3) of the 'Spintunes' songwriting competition. The challenge was to write and record a song about or prominently mentioning a song (or other piece of music). In this instance my song within the song is the ‘one hit’ of the title. Essentially, the “Oh my, oh my love” refrain. Does that fulfil the brief? No idea.
