Chedly's reinterpretation of "Ye Nes Jaratli Gharayeb," a profound piece of poetry by Abu al-Hasan al-Shushtari, brings a fresh, electronic twist to this timeless classic. By blending deep house elements with the rich tradition of the original, Chedly bridges the gap between the past and modern music. The track features a powerful vocal performance by Kheirouu, whose interpretation adds depth and emotion, highlighting the connection between heritage and innovation.

This track will feature on Chedly's upcoming debut album, "You Exist Through Me," a deeply personal tribute to his father, who passed away in 2021. Emerging in 2024 after a decade of music creation under the name CheLab, Chedly's new project spans over 20 tracks that weave together modern electronic sounds with traditional MENA region melodies. Accompanied by stunning visuals crafted by Viseria Studio, "You Exist Through Me" offers a powerful exploration of memory, loss, and the eternal bond between father and son. "Ye Nes Jaratli Gharayeb" stands out as a beautiful fusion of heritage and innovation within this journey, showcasing the collaborative magic between Chedly and Kheirouu.

Abu al-Hasan al-Shushtari was a renowned Andalusian Sufi poet whose work transcends geographical and cultural boundaries. His poem "Ye Nes Jaratli Gharayeb" has inspired many artists across different regions and musical styles. The poem is not owned by any modern artist and does not represent a specific region; rather, it reflects a universal spiritual essence that resonates globally.

Throughout history, the poem has been reimagined by various artists, each adding their unique touch:

- Hamdou Benani (Algeria): Presented a version in the "Malouf" style, blending classical Arabic music with Andalusian influences.
- Rabah Kadhem (Algeria): Offered a choral interpretation that combines traditional Andalusian roots with contemporary elements.
- Zied Gharssa (Tunisia): Created a Tunisian version in collaboration with his father, Taaher Gharssa, utilizing classical Arabic instruments.
- Ayman Bou Beker (Tunisia): Provided a modern reinterpretation that merges traditional Tunisian voices with contemporary production techniques.
- Jalel Benna (Tunisia): Focused on a classical and folk interpretation highlighting regional and cultural aspects of Tunisian music.
- Khaless Zidan (Andalusia, Spain): Integrated the poem into a classical Andalusian music collection, reflecting the region's musical traditions.
- Sabri Msbah (Tunisia): Revitalized the poem with a mix of rock, jazz, and folk music, offering a contemporary approach.
- Hamza Namira (Egypt): Presented a blend of traditional Arabic music with modern styles, including elements of rap and pop.

Since emerging on the House Music scene several years back, David Vendetta has kept himself busy focusing on every aspect of the industry. 2011 stands to be a year of new tracks and general artistic development, as David not only furthers the David Vendetta image, but also starts work on several collaborations.

He has already started this year with a release featuring the iconic London Beat 'I've Been Thinking About U', a great Vocal Mix with singer Sylvia Tosun, titled “World Keeps Turning” which was 6th at TOP 100 Progressive House on Beatport the first week of release! and a new track with Axwell vocalist Max C.

Then there’s the collaborations that he is working on with several female vocalists, including Ukrainian singer Oxana and Laura V, the voice who brought us Chris Lake’s universal Dance Music hit, “Changes”.

Finally, David has signed and licensed his second studio album to over 60 countries. He is in no shortage of international gigs, so catch him at a city near you! Being a jack-of-all-musical trades isn’t easy, but Vendetta manages to find the perfect balance between producing and gigging, making him a true House Music star.
