Hi!  I’m Azadi Amaan [they/them].
  
My vulnerable, heartfelt music invites listeners on a co-created journey.  My passion is to facilitate meaningful connection through my music.

In the face of adversity, music brings hope into my life.  Through teaching and sharing my compositions,  I continually discover the ability to ignite this feeling in others.

2 years ago, I released an improvisatory solo piano album, 'A Place Of Peace'.

As I’ve grown and changed as a person and a musician, and the stories that have burst forth from my fingers into original compositions unlike any I’ve recorded before.

I’m excited to offer a deeper, vulnerable glimpse into my world on my new album, ‘The  Light In Dark Spaces’.

I'm introverted to the core.  (You won’t find me at a party.  I’d rather be at home practicing the piano or drinking a cup of tea.

My stance on AI "music": Procedurally (de)generated music shows people that you have no respect for musicians nor the craft of music. You are not an artist if you resort to using it, but maybe it fills the hole where your artistic integrity should be? Composing comes from the heart and soul, not from settling for a program that imitates something that is supposed to resemble originality but which it by design cannot. Every second of music should be felt, and feeling cannot be generated.

Lifelong musician. All of my time now is spent composing, creating, arranging , producing from multiple genres and its a glorious sort of madness and is not showing any signs at all of slowing down.Hope to be exposed , discovered, and to be allowed , by the graces of all of you , to brighten your lives , the way mine was saved . and elevated by an ability that i have not fully unleashed to its full potential ...hope to tho , for all of you...soon. -Dave.
