The flow of time leaves inescapable tracks to which belong different meanings, while memories fade as the sands continue their relentless march forward. The only thing in our power is to enjoy what has given us, choosing the best soundtrack for our lives. And thats precisely what Cristina Lazics new release is all about, as she returns to her throne after a few months hiatus with Watch The Time EP, which also includes two remixes by LondonGround and Simes. For LAZIC015, she embraces all her vibrant energy, providing two originals - one together with ABEL - that feature rubbery basslines, acid licks, spacey synths, and skippy grooves. On the remix duties, Argentinian top-producer LondonGround (elrow, SIGHT) takes things to the next level with an incredible take, crafting a bold, hypnotic version built for both the dancefloor and the afters. TRUST marks the second chapter in my ongoing EP series – a journey through sound, growth, and creative confidence. Where the first release laid down the roots, TRUST begins to stretch further – bolder, more focused, and more open.

This EP is about something you don’t always see, but feel: trust in your own sound, in intuition, and in the quiet evolution that happens when you follow it. The title track captures that energy – stripped down, raw, and direct.

As a special addition, TRUST features a powerful remix by my longtime friend and collaborator Uniq Habits, who brings a whole new dimension to the track. There’s also a Bare Bones Mix by me – reduced to the essence, almost like a sketch – an attempt to reveal the track’s core in its most honest form.

This release continues to reflect my personal and artistic growth – unfiltered, evolving, and deeply connected.

At just 20 years old, Piero Acinapura is already carving out a blend of raw, sharp tech grooves with releases on respected imprints including Take Notes, CUFF, and Sound D’Elite, and early support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Joseph Capriati, and Toman. Rooted in the sounds of Milan, his style continues to evolve through shows across Italy and Europe, and he now readies his biggest release to date with a first appearance on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings.

Spanning three dynamic cuts, Acinapura’s ‘Lowrider’ EP captures his young, creative spirit across diﬀerent moods and moments. The title track was inspired by a Spanish interview he stumbled upon discussing a rave party. Sampling and reworking the spoken word amongst a bouncy, driving groove, the result is a lively percussive cut that feels fresh and spontaneous.
Next up, ‘Skate Park’ leans into more experimental territory. Looking to fuse old-school sounds with modern club energy, Acinapura layers gritty drums and warped vocals into a rugged, oﬀ-kilter groove, resulting in something raw, unexpected, and totally dancefloor-ready after rounds of testing and refinement. Rounding out the package, ‘Jam’ was created with the club in mind.
Stripped-back, sharp, and focused, it delivers another no-nonsense rhythm designed to lock in late-night crowds, tailored for the kind of gigs where every detail matters. A confident and versatile debut, the EP sees Piero Acinapura bring his emerging sound to Blackflag Recordings with style, marking another big step forward for this talented newcomer.
