"The Great Longing," was inspired by a musical idea by the wonderful Yotsugi and dives deep into themes of loss, yearning, and transcendence, as seen in the poignant passage you quoted:

"My soul, I have given you everything, even my last possessions, and all my hands have emptied themselves for you. To command you to sing, that was my last thing! Commanding you to sing—and now, speak, say: who of us now has to be grateful? Or, even better: sing for me, sing, my soul! And let me give thanks!"

This song resonates with the struggle of holding on while feeling the pull of the unknown. It is a plea for the soul to keep singing, even when everything else seems to be slipping away.

Lyrically, "The Great Longing" captures the existential struggle of losing touch with oneself, searching for direction, and the hope of reconnecting through the soul’s persistent song. Like the themes in Nietzsche’s work, it explores the tension between despair and the will to continue—a longing for a deeper connection, both with oneself and with life.

Your buzz is peaking and in  walks Delilah Lilac.  She immediately casts a spell of love over the room.  The room is lifting off into space and it is propelled by her amazing positive spirit.  She has nothing but endless love for everyong and is always the focal point of attention.  All negativity is gone and life is magical again.
