I’ve been sitting on this track for a while and finally decided to share it because I kind of like how it's coming together. The mix is still rough, and it’s part of a potential album (Track N.2).
There’s still a lot I need to work on—especially the lyrics and some other parts of the song that I’m not quite happy with yet—but I’ll be revisiting those soon.
The track is titled “2: Obsessed” (prod. blossom).

“Left Behind” was written about my best friend, who recently ended his first serious relationship after three years. Their priorities and life goals had changed, and they no longer aligned—something a lot of us quietly go through.

I wanted the song to feel raw and honest. No big pop chorus—just a simple story, told through a simple melody.

A bittersweet solo track that drifts between imagination and reality. Inspired by the magical lens of childhood wonder, the song paints a world of unicorns, candy canes, and lullabies — while hinting at the effort it takes to keep that world alive.

This song is about chasing happiness in a digital world, only to realise it might be hiding outside your browser window. Written in the haze of burnout and doom scrolling!

From somewhere in the dream between memory and melody comes Bedroom Sound, a lo-fi indie project blending ambient chillwave roots with spiritual undertones and melancholic pop. Tuned for overthinkers wide awake on the pillow.

Tom Ladds is a Devon-based musician, singer, songwriter and producer. 
His solo project 'i Had a Name' (iHaN), started In 2020 just before the global pandemic. 
Although it stopped him from performing live, it didn't stop him from getting his music out into the wild, and since his debut in 2020, his songs have been featured on BBC Introducing in the South West, BBC Radio Devon and Freshman Guitars acoustic sessions. Tom also qualified as a Semi-finalist in the International Song writing Competition 2020 for his song In the Past; Six Years. 
His songs have been praised for their 'storytelling' qualities, and he has been compared to a subtle blend between Bon Iver and Dallas Green, (City and Colour). 
*Each release is produced mixed and mastered by Tom in-house.
