Alexander Renfred is a worship leader, singer-songwriter and musician.

Alexander Renfred (born August 30, 1991, age 24) is an Indonesian Pop & Rock Blues musician, singer-songwriter and recording artist with mostly Christian theme. He was born and raised in Surabaya, Indonesia, the second of three children. He is a Christian and a member of Mawar Sharon Church. Alex received Christ at the age of 17 – Aug 10, 2008 in a local church – and began to ministering as a worship leader a year later – Aug 30, 2009 – on his 18th birthday. He is now the main worship leader in a youth revival service “Army of God” (Mawar Sharon Youth) – a movement led by Ps. Philip Mantofa with thousands of congregation weekly. He founded “Voice of The Restless“ (VOTR) in 2013 and has been performing mainly with the band since then. They released their debut album “Writing The Future” in 2015.

Alex has written (& co-written as well) more than 50 songs. Most of them are Christian Contemporary and recorded with his band, Voice of The Restless. Some of his songs are:

Alex is a huge fan of John Mayer. He is also heavily influenced by Coldplay, Noah, Noel Gallagher, Ed Sheeran and Hillsong UNITED. Other singers & musicians considered as influence are Sidney Mohede, Paramore, The Beatles, Avril Lavigne, Melee, Westlife, Adam Levine, Jason Mraz, Katy Perry, My Chemical Romance, Glenn Fredly & Brooke Fraser.
His favorite album is John Mayer’s “Continuum” with “The Heart of Life” as his favorite song.

Alexander Renfred shows his interest also on coffee shops, movies, traveling, writing, photography, graphic design, books, football & basketball.
