David Gaffney - Mixtape I

David Gaffney is a DJ, performer and a recent producer born in Monchengladbach, Germany. His love for electronic music erupted whilst living in the UK, pursuing him to buy his first set of decks. Since then he has developed his passion for House and Techno music, as well as honing his technical and live performance ability. His capability was recognized when he was 20, and certainly rewarded during his studies in Manchester, by playing at Antwerp Mansion, alongside the well renowned Sankeys.

Having finished his studies, he decided to utilize his understanding of groove and dark sound elements and apply this knowledge through undertaking a logic music production course at the highly rated Sub Bass Academy in London. 

Since then he has supported the likes of Markus Schulz, Jax Jones, Camilo Franco, and Gaston Zani, and played at venues such as Ministry of Sound, Lightbox, Mash House Camilo, as well as closing a night in front of 3000 people at Harper Adams Festival.

David Gaffney is recognisable for his dirty tech groove and hard-hitting kick drums, and has yet proved to disappoint on the dance floor. He has now played all over the UK and is surely gaining a presence and foothold in the underground house and techno scene.
