He is the transporter of minds and souls to an amazing frantic paradise that, while leaving you knackered, strangely also leaves you feeling re-invigorated.
At 6ft tall and broad-shouldered, a chunky ostentatious bracelets around his arms, and immaculate dress sense ,he makes an imposing figure who commands respect.
Yet, he is not dancing; this is something far more emotional. Imagine watching a couple having hot, rough, yet passionate but dominating sex to a breathless, wailing lover which, in this case, comes in the shape of a mixing desk. Forceful, dominant, yet always tender and caring. The visual impact allows your body to further immerse itself in the ecstasy he is submitting you to; your ears alone cannot possibly absorb everything that he is throwing at you.
As for his sound, imagine every track as a partially completed canvas. Through the use of effects on the mixing desk, he adds his own colour, texture and feel as he maximises every beat of every track to create the unique sound. His precision mixing at incalculable speeds is part of the show; as each track mixes in you can positively feel the dance-floor going up a notch to keep up with the frantic and energetic DJ that has them all by the balls.

Unsere heutige Nummer 117 kommt ganz fresh vom Rocko Garoni ums Eck.

Das Multitalent Rocko ist nicht nur DJ sondern auch Veranstalter und Produzent. Und genau diese Mischung zeichnet seinen Sound aus. In Windeseile einen illegalen Rave aufzubauen, diesen dann mit seinem Set zu zerlegen und am Schluss noch den Morgen anzubeten. Er kann den Kopf in die steife Brise halten, weil er weiß, dass Feiern immer etwas Politisches ist, weil Freiräume nicht zuletzt auch gefühlt werden. Und Rocko kann mit seiner Musik auch Räume erfüllen.

Wenn man Rocko frägt wie er seinen Sound beschreiben würde, bekommt man eine äußerst lustige Beschreibung. 
„Ich mach Trainingsjackenmusik mit breiten Bässen. Das heißt: volle Direktheit, bei totaler Freundlichkeit. Brandungsmusik im Zeitraffer, bei der manchmal auch die Sonne aufgehen darf. Techno mit weichen, ausgeleierten Bündchen am Handgelenk, modern-retro eben.“

Für unsere Reihe hat er einen wunderbar verspielten Mix zusammengestellt mit einem wunderbaren Schlusstrack … einen Kalipo-Remix eines Joy Devision Klassiker. Rocko vielen Dank für diese umwerfende Stunde. Und nun die Trainings-Jacke angezogen und die Kopfhörer auf.

Heute hab ich einen ganz besonderen Leckerbissen für euch parat. Dieses megastimmungsvolle Set ist ein Live-Recording von Moji (Motomenja) vom grandiosen Bucht der Träumer Festival 2017. Inspiriert von der Morgensonnen nach einer stürmischen Nacht, spielten Moji, Tom und Svenja ein Herzens-Set für lachende und sonnige Tänzer auf dem Antlantis Floor. Und man kann es nicht anderes sagen … aber die Stimmung kommt voll durch.

Motomenja ist ein Deep-House/Downtempo Projekt der Künstler MOji [@moji-taali], TOM [@te-em-berlin] und svENJA [@plattenstreich]. Eine verwobene Symbiose aus atmosphärischen Klängen, sanften Melodien, treibenden Rhythmen und starken Bässen. Jedes Set lädt auf eine eigene Reise durch die weite Welt des Ambient und Downtempo ein, begleitet von groovigen Live-Elementen und fantasievollen Improvisationen auf der E-Violine.

Former israeli Marine Officer Amir Telem teams up with his german brother from another mother, Marcel Slottke also known under his artist name Nordvolk. Together they build the duo SOUL COLLECTIVE.

Their roots are from different worlds, but when they first met in Tulum, Mexico under magical circumstances, it was like brothers found each other after a long soul ride. And that's what Leipzig/Germany based Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse wants to tell us with his releases and podcasts: there is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentic, being a full time music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head.

Whoever shed some tears while listening to emotional music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be “music to remember” and make a big impact. And that could be a melody, a baseline, steady percussion or strong vocals. Marc has already connected a lot of that love with his music. In more than a decade represented by the strongest labels (150+ releases) and performing on the biggest international stages, Marc has established as a unique producer and DJ.

After releases and remixes on Noir Music, Traum Schallplatten, Definition:Music, Katermukke, Selador – just to name a few – Marc is currently working on his second artist album which will be released in 2017 on his homebase label Einmusika Recordings.

According to his own productions, Marc is running the rising label JEAHMON! Records and opened another platform for the artists origins. “How I Met The Bass” is a storyteller podcast project which became a big brand yet."

Unsere Lieblinge Geju sollten uns eigentlich mit einem speziellen Podcast beglücken. Dies musste aber erst Mal auf Eis gelegt werden, denn die beiden Musiker sind momentan sehr gefragt. Zudem werden Sie bald neue Produktionen veröffentlichen, die es in sich haben.

Als 'Entschädigung' erhielten wir ihr Live-Set vom diesjährigen Mayan Warrior Camp. Say what? Ich bin beim Hören nicht mehr aus dem Grinsen herausgekommen und hoffe, dass es euch mindestens genauso gut gefällt, wie mir. Passend zu den letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Jahres 'schwooft' das Set gemächlich und mit einer Menge Leichtigkeit über die auditiven Felder unseres Bewusstseins. Wahrlich zum Verlieben. An epic sunrise and then a mesmerizing beautiful morning. No sand storms this time. Absolutely quiet and peaceful Playa. Feelings of of happiness, the fulfillment of the moment, and childish enlightenment were taking us over, and even of something more, something that is hard to describe, because it is rather similar to magic, that is flowing in the air over that giant heart on the top of bus.

We'd like to spread our love and gratefulness to every one who was still with us at midday, while the sun was in its zenith. We literally got burnt under its rays. It must have been the hottest day of that week. But could it stop us? No way. That 3,5 hours were like one moment.

Our congratulations and thanks to the Robot Heart team. You've been producing love for 10 years and granting happiness in Black Rock City. We could feel it from outside, and now we are honored to be part of it. We really appreciate it.

Melodik Session 29 - Passierschein A38

Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga). This week we have @passierschein-a38 aka Glenn from Germany

We found Glenn through one of his tracks released on Wildfang - Golden Dreams and in this moment we fell in love with his craft. Glenn's style is truly unique his tunes are slow, groovy and killerrrr hahaa...we love this journey hope you do too...Thankyou brother for sharing the love.
Some history behind his peculiar stage name ^^-
From the 1976 animated film The Twelve Tasks of Asterix. One of the tasks Asterix and Obelix have to solve is finding the permit A38 in The Place That Sends You Mad, which is riddled with extreme bureaucracy and turns the two nearly insane.
