Well…the boulder was a-thunderin’ right down the hill
Below, the folks in their beds layin’ sleepy and still
Not for the first time, the onus was on me
To act fast, preventing a catastrophe

And the train was a-hurtlin’ all over the track
Out of control, no way to stop or turned back
How come it’s always my responsibility

Seems like I’m always on high alert
To dig dodgy situations out of the dirt
Hardly get any downtime to spend on me

Hell…the two great world leaders were havin’ a spat
Each tryin’ to second guess the other’s line of attack
Once more, I had to step in and do what needs be

Sarah-Mae and Willy, clearly made for each other
But Sarah-Mae tipped a subtle wink to Willie’s big brother
I had to, given Willie’s temper, save all three
To act fast, preventing a catastrophe

It’s twenty-four/seven, with no let up or release
I’ll only get some peaceful rest, the day I rest in peace
Gotta go now, there’s a ship that’s lost at sea
