Axis Bold as Z is a continuation on the theme (earlier established here)  of sampling rappers (a.k.a. JayZ) and attempting to mash it into jazz.

This is my first tune of 2011 and appropriately titled 1-1-11.  This tune is a mashup of guitar tones, altered guitar samples, Ableton Live and musical genres.  All the electronic sounds began life as guitar.

WARNING to would be Grammatico Amp buyers.  I have had a very very very bad experience buying an amp from John Grammatico.  He took my $2,800 paid in advance, delivered me a dented and scratched cab, and an amp that sounded nothing like any of his other amps or what he promised.  He refused to resolve any of these blatant issues.  He then proceeded to personally insult me in email after email after email.  You want to stay away from this guy.  I got completely screwed.  Don't make the same mistake.

For the gear heads... this was a D'Prego Tele (borrowed) --&gt; my Bludotone Ojai --&gt; lots of overdubs --&gt; touch of reverb and delay.Lots of production (another marathon mix)and sound design and mashing.....
