Plane Funk

Another Plane tune.  Wrote this one somewhere over Nebraska coming into Denver from Boston last week.  Finished it up today in the studio. I give you Miles Over Nebraska.  Can you feel it?

This is the Electric Ladyland (LOL) version of The Birds.  This track started off with a Field Recording sample of Birds and thus the title.  Everything but the guitars and drums come from those samples....bass line, percussion, and ambient sounds.

Used my Trombetta Mini Bone Fuzz on this one for that Fuzzface tone...very cool pedal!!

This is my first tune of 2011 and appropriately titled 1-1-11.  This tune is a mashup of guitar tones, altered guitar samples, Ableton Live and musical genres.  All the electronic sounds began life as guitar.

For the gear heads... this was a D'Prego Tele (borrowed) --&gt; my Bludotone Ojai --&gt; lots of overdubs --&gt; touch of reverb and delay.Lots of production (another marathon mix)and sound design and mashing.....
