Red Axes have just dropped the recording of a very special 5 hour set in Room 2. Now available to stream, this exclusive recording from this time last year is a deep-dive into the staple sound of the punk-edged duo.

Made up of Tel-Aviv Based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik & Niv Arzi, Red Axes have been more than catching our eyes and ears over the past few years.  So much so, we’re keen to share our passion for the duo elsewhere, even taking them to other venues such as Village Underground for another special extended session earlier this year.

The pair have roots in rock music and begun their creative collaboration when they were in a band together. So perhaps it is unsuprising that today, their electronic music projects delve into a sound that roams through psychedelic electronica, post-punk and new wave elements, often dipping into a retro rock and 80’s hued sound that first fuelled their sonic spark.

Not fussed about short-lived hypes and instead inspired by both old and new records, Thomas Stieler has since found his signature sound: house in all its facets – classic, deep, minimal, full of drive and sometimes even close to techno.
As a DJ he enthuses the crowd with his fine intuition for tracks that fit the mood and are mixed into each other both elegantly and electrily – the typical Stieler transitions.

Remembering the old days is not always the wrong choice. David Jach focused on his roots and with Back To House and he reflects where his own sound is coming from. Oldschool vibes meet a new way of club aesthetics. A homage to friends of classic but modern house productions with punch. His friends Okain and Agent are with him on his journey and provide their interpretation of oldschool house music. Both give the original an individual twist and the three productions together build a harmonic picture Back To House.
