Shipwrecked Festival 2024 - ‘a Reubey special’ Sunday afternoon @ the Humming Hut

(Track List Below) This live set from Center Camp was inspired by the joy and adventure I experienced out on the playa that night. Pulling from the last 10 years of my releases I went back to my roots in that shanti world heart vibe, so much music that I never get to play at big parties and clubs. Played to a huge and empty tent it was one of the highlights of my time in the desert, just for me. Sparkled in are some favorite tracks by other producers. In the moment I felt so much gratitude for all the collaborators, singers and instrumentalists who have worked on these songs with me on this journey. Still that heartfelt thanks is just as present. May you enjoy the journey and feel the intention. Yip yip!

This mix is the sound of spring and the changes it brings. Holding onto the highs, the trebles, the tweaks and the whimsy. In a world that seems intent on getting smaller I cherish the flavours and colours from far and wide. As our spring rains fall they draw me outwards to a place of light and hope. Still holding on to the steady rhythms of the deep months that are almost behind us, those deeper tech beats that I’m always drawn to still remain. Memories drawn from old tracks made new .. On December 4th 2020 I had the utmost pleasure of headlining at Slow Motion's inaugural event Slow Motion 01 at The Exchange (XCHC)in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The first of its kind in Christchurch, this new event series will showcase slower four on the floor grooves than your regular night out. With decelerated beats - we're keeping it below 115 BPM throughout the night - comes an appreciation for the finer details of the music and the opportunity to get fully immersed.

German-born David Juno discovered electronic music in Jena before moving to New Zealand. Melody and organic sounds are at the core of the music he is passionate about, through different tempos and moods within the 4/4 realm of house and downtempo. David Juno concocts harmonious brews that enthrall listeners at large and small gatherings; clandestine woodland rendezvous; thundering, pitch-black basement blowouts, light-speed gigs aboard gleaming spaceships, and even interdimensional celestial soirées.
