Soundexile to bring us release number #025, the hauntingly beautiful, "Japanese Snowbell."   As if having the main man back in the studio were not enough, Hernan has also drafted in Jamie Stevens for a debut appearance on the label. The award winning founding member of Infusion, renowned for his uncompromising and intricate productions, reworks the melancholic deepness of the original into a wonderfully uplifting, roof-raising number.   The second rework comes from Sudbeat regular, Manuel Sofia. Bathing us in synth, the young Argentinian creates a tender yet euphoric vision of "Japanese Snowbell." The wintery feel of the original is replaced by the warmth of Manuel's sunrise anthem.

After a seriously great year for Sudbeat in 2012 featuring music from Nick Warren, Guy J, Vincenzo, Dave Seaman, Microtarauma, Christian Smith and Argy to name just a few.. they're back for 2013 sporting brand new artwork and the main man himself back with a release Hernan Cattaneo and his studio partners Soundexile.
And so lets start with the original from Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile with Infoxication, a deep infectious housey edged groover with techie tinges. Warm, phat and a full sound hypnotically locks you in, while subtle melodics ping around adding space and depth. Deeper then many would expect from the pair, but proving their musical diversity, this really is a tasty slab of underground goodness.
To complete this package is an awesome choice of remixer Chaim who has released on such formidable labels as Supplement Facts and Cocoon. His mix utilises the main melodies from the original, but taking the track more stripped back, providing plenty of space, leaving your mind to wander as the track weaves from moments of melody to times of just bassline and kick drum. Its deep, deadly and will work a treat on the Worlds coolest dance floors.

This time we are graced with Cityism, a deep hypnotic melodic housey tinged techster with layers of synths and sounds meeting fx and spoken vocal samples. The deep bass drives this along while the melodies tinkle brightly.
The seriously on form Pig & Dan step up with the first of the remixes, and strip things right back with an infectious techno groove that punches along, and then builds with drum fills and snippets of melody, and as the tension builds the melody develops - all the while keeping it solid and deep.
Richie G a definite rising talent on the scene is next on remix duties, and delivers a contagious number with distinctive pads, a moving tough yet profound bassline, vocal snippets and tight production that locks you right in. Another top remix.
To close the package is the Dub Mix from Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile who utilse the main elements from the original, but strip things back and increase the intensity while taking us deeper with its driving, almost rolling bassline.

David “DAVI” Khanjian grew up listening to classic sounds of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the likes.

Self-taught to flaunt an acoustic guitar by the shy age of 15, David soon discovered a deep passion for music. Fast forwarding past a stint as a vocalist in the Yerevan Komitas State conservatory, and a dj residency at Monte Cristo, most prestigious night club in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, David suddenly found himself in Los Angeles at the age of 20.

Focusing on production of genre defying electronic music, David’s sound can best be described as deeply melodic journey into the mind that can leave you whiplashed much like a rollercoaster. As the vibrant strings of acoustic guitar resonate over thick bass lines, you can feel a warm glow in your heart, interrupted only by an occasional conga riff. His dj sets leave one standing drenched in sweat, completely exhausted from the satisfaction of losing yourself in the dark beats and the lush melodies.

These days, David can be found playing anywhere from Avalon and Monday Night Social to LA’s best outdoor parties and even Black Rock City.
