Naked Veins fell out of Mother Metal's womb in late 2012 accompanied by the noise of the self-dubbed 'Slime Rock'. Hailing from Salford, on the outskirts of Manchester, they are not at all influenced by the previous sounds that precede their localities...yawn! They are driven by the absolute necessity in bringing their honest and long-overdue music back into the veins of the mainstream.

A deliberately hard-hitting three piece (hey labels – they are cheap as f**k) holding a combination of sporadic moments of fresh intelligence and mostly a relentless drive of creating big guitar riffs, piercing bass lines and powerful drums. Do you need more?

Influenced by the likes of Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone age and a load of other crap - there is an intensity and determination to the band, who claim to be established by 'the things that dislike them the most' and an 'appetite to create a serious and melodic sound that has been molded by previous generations of underground to over ground movements.'

Naked Veins have no big AR front, no money or no tight shoes/leather bag twat, claiming to manage the band whilst forcing you to buy their average merchandise & even shitter music - Just quality fans and the hard work put in so far.

Naked Veins first EP 'Making Lava Lamps With Dead Slugs' will debut in March 2013 - keep those tired eyes peeled for a musical shot of adrenaline.
