Oortek’s (Ex. DAS BOOT) focus lies on the exploration of progressive, dark minimal and driving techno, and its synthesis with ethereal melodic elements and alien, otherworldly sounding psychedelika. Driven by curiosity and a fascination with the unknown, she seeks to fully embrace the creative process and delivers intelligently crafted sets that draw the audience in. Through the transmission of enticing auditory landscapes interspersed with unorthodox twists and turns, her DJ sets serve as an antidote to the stale and ordinary.

Oortek grew up in the inner city environments of Western Germany, where her fascination with house and techno sounds first developed. After moving to Australia in 2013, she quickly discovered the underground music scene and refined her interest through continuous engagement with the community.  Oortek performed her DJ debut in July 2023, and has since played at a number of events held by Brisbane based organisers including Diffuszed Studios, Misheen Productions and Wizards of Kingston.

David Malefoy is an aspiring DJ and Visual Artist from France, living in Brisbane, Australia.

As a child, he fell in love with the emerging Dance Music and electronic sounds of the 90s. A passion that still drives him more than 30 years later.

His passion revolves mainly around the universe of Techno and Psytrance, and everything in between.
With a special affection for Techno, the genre that resonates with his Heart and Soul, David tends to refine his style into Dark, Intense, Synth-driven, and "Cosmic" Techno.

Nostalgic child, his alter-ego Malefoy'86 sometimes takes him into the retro-futuristic universe of Retro Synthwave.

As an aspiring DJ, he likes to mix a variety of genres, with a strong focus on :

Mac3ratoR is a dynamic DJ hailing from the vibrant city of Melbourne and now thriving in the sunny expanses of Queensland. The Mac3ratoR uses a pumping mechanism to help remove the sewage from his sets. Tracks are ground up (or 'macerated') before they leave the mixer, which greatly reduces the amount of pressure required for dancing.
The Mac3ratoR is sometimes confused with pump-assisted gravity flow DJ's, but the main difference is that Mac3ratoR does not produce any extra pressure within the conventional sound system.
Mac3ratoR depends on his own powerful motives or inspiration and typically uses 1/3 less wank than conventional flush DJ's. 
Mac3ratoR shreds Dark-Psy, Hi-tech and other genres like it's human waste and toilet paper into a fine slurry for  seamless listening on the D floor. Get amongst it. Namaste 🙏

Intka is a DJ and event organiser hailing from Ireland, moulded by Melbourne and currently residing in Gold Coast, Australia.

Inspired by various scenes from around the world; including UK minimal, Latin tech house and Australian bush techno, Intka embraces a diverse range of sounds in his DJ sets - with groove and soul at the centre of everything he does. Some key influences include Hector Couto, Manuel De La Mare, Late Replies & Funk Cartel.

Loukia creates mystical soundscapes that are hypnotic, deep and earthy with atmospheric psychedelic elements - journeys of alchemy designed to bring the listener home to their soul resonance. 

Her style is sensual and innovative, incorporating elements of psy-techno, bush and dark progressive, while drawing on inspiration from many different genres and the frequencies of nature… All drenched with an entrancing dark feminine flavour.

The weaving of deep, grounding basslines with ethereal sound design and organic elements hold an intimate container for journeying through emotions and exploring the spaces within shadow and light. Her sonic journeys are heart-centred, profound, and relentlessly funky.

The scandinavian based project Nangijala was created in the early 2008. Their soundscape goes from deep progressive to atmospheric minimal with a touch of Nordic forest sounds. Jacob and Johan both have musical backgrund in drums, piano and sound design. Johan started his music quest in his teenage years with recording sounds to tapes and later started with computers to manipulate sounds. Jacob started his quest in the early years playing drums, guitar and later played in different kinds of bands. He also picked up some other instrument and sound design he could get his hands on. Now Jacob and Johan is on a experimental quest together into the deep space of music, always up for new techniques to manipulate and record sounds.

Originally from Germany and now calling Meanjin/Brisbane her home, Haus_Kat has a passion for electronic music, especially tech house, progressive house, bass house, melodic house and techno, and everything in between. She is super grateful to have had the opportunity to share her carefully curated and arranged mixes with other humans at festivals, doofs and warehouse events across Queensland, and she enjoys this so much that  there is no stopping her!

The Akashic Records are stored in the spirit realm and contain a vibrational record of all Universal events that ever happened, thought, dreamed and imagined, past, present and future.

You could call it a Library of wisdom stored from and for Consciousness itself. A Place we all are connected to, a state of consciousness we call Home.

Her tracks take listeners on an atmospheric journey, blending deep, driving basslines with intricate layers of sound to create an ever-evolving landscape that mesmerizes and transports. With four years of experience playing at a diverse array of events and festivals, both in Australia and internationally, she has quickly made a name for herself. TranceNdance 2023, Lost In Between 2023 & 2024, Eclectic Collective, Berlin Calling, Orisis Gathering 2023, and events in India. She’s also shared the stage with renowned artists such as KOBI, Twisted Siblings, Megapixel, Zen mechanics and lots more. 

Through her work with Merkaba’s Hawaii retreat (2024), she has honed her technical skills, taking her production to the next level. She’s currently working on her debut tracks, featuring grounded kick drums, powerful basslines, and psychedelic journeys that define her unique style. Every performance is a celebration of energy and innovation.
