Inspiration

Poem written to honour the passing on of  ancient teachings and indigenous wisdoms. Written for a gathering held in the forest titled  'Reigniting Ancient Way's - bringing together Elders from Africa(Dogon), Central America  (Huichol) Ecuador SA (Kichwa)Australia(Aboriginal)and the UK. Held at the Wasing Estate Forest, Reading UK

Produced by @elementalism at soundship studios costa rica.featuring Ronan Harvey on percussion.Honey in the Heart is a Mayan greeting.The song plays with a traditional Malian melody called 'Gomni'.I grew up in Mali and in our garden lived a monkey in a mango tree.In those sweet hippi days,my friends',Honey and Heart set sail from  Oregon aboard a homemade boat.Arriving in Costa Rica they  camped on a beautiful beach in Tambor bay which is still home to them and their many children and grandchildren.Honey runs a weekly organic market where I jam with Heart.For guitarists the chords are VERSE D-/C/F/F/F/F and CHORUS D- x 4 /F x 4 the picture is from my wall mural
