Born and raised on the classic sounds of old-school disco & 90's House music, I've spent my entire life immersed in the grooves & melodies that defined the era.

As a music producer, my love of old-school disco is evident in everything I create. Whether it's remixing classic tracks for modern dancefloors or crafting original compositions that pay homage to the genre, I'm always looking for ways to keep the spirit of disco alive.

Charlie House has spent the past two decades turning coastal beginnings into a wide-ranging, hard-won career. Raised in Hastings and forged on stages across the UK and Europe, she’s shared bills with chart-topping acts, earned national radio airplay, and placed songs in television and film.

Her voice weaves soul, folk, and alt-pop into one unmistakable sound. Her songwriting pairs sharp observation with melodies that stick — creating tracks that feel both intimate and expansive. From grassroots venues to open-air festivals, Charlie treats every performance as a conversation, not a broadcast.

Now deep into sessions for a new EP, she continues to evolve without losing the honesty that’s always defined her. Twenty years on, Charlie House still writes like the next song might be the one that changes everything — and delivers it with the quiet confidence of someone who’s earned her place.

Hysteric Ego needs no introduction, since 'Want Love' first hit the airwaves in 1996 as a B side to Quixotic, there's been no looking back. Worldwide DJ gigs, countless tracks on highly respected compilation albums and single sales in the millions have all contributed to a hugely successful 18 years in the spotlight.
The last 2 years have been slightly different though and the globe trotting producer has been hard at work behind the scenes getting ready to launch another assault on the dance music world; "The last 2 years have been so different to the previous says Rob "I've been lucky enough to travel the world and play at some of the best clubs and parties around, but I started to miss my studio work so I decided to lock myself away and get some new material ready. I'm really pleased with the way the new stuff is sounding and the time is nearing for me to put it out there"
Expect a brand new re-working of 'Want Love' a classic dance anthem remixed in true Hysteric Ego style and another re-working of a well known female artist's top 10 hit.
2015 is already looking like a massive year for Hysteric Ego and with the DJ diary also filling up quickly, looks like it will be another busy year as well.
