It's about atmosphere.. It doesn't matter where. Night Club, Kitchen, Bedroom, Birthday Party, Restaurant, Temple, Church... Music is our friend in creation of good & positive atmosphere.
ATMOSFERIX was created back in 1990 as a (non-profit) internet radio station that played underground electronic dance music in Riga, Latvia. Website was doing it's job to inform capital's House Heads about upcoming events and fresh mixes to download.

Back in the days a lot of things were different…music as well.
That’s why, now, 13 years later, we want to take it back.. to the oldschool.
Inspired by early classic house sound of 90's, we would like to offer an opportunity to showcast Artists who, in our opinion, still make music, who still sound musical. Record label will focus mainly on House (deep, soulful, tech), although we don't mind Jazzy TripHop or D'n'B. 
As long as the sound is right and comes from a Soul of an Artist!
For the sake of Better Days and Music :) we hope to bring some fresh flavour not only from Northern Europe but from all over the world.

ATMOSFERIX founder, DJ Beat started to perform back in 90's, being just 14 y.o., on reel 2 reel tape recorders. However it was while studying classical music, that Beat found out he has fallen in love with House Music. That was it.. He was hooked! :)

DJ BEAT is one of the most experienced DJ’s from Latvia. His DJ skills and experience developed alongside the Latvian dance music scene itself. From the start of his DJ-ing career he has been actively promoting Dance music in Latvia and in the Baltic States.
Although he has started to spin vinyl in the early 90’s, in the very beginning of Latvia’s electronic music era, DJ BEAT joined the music scene at the early age of 6. He studied at the Academy of Music, where he had mastered solfegio, piano and spend 11 years singing in "Jazepa Medina” boys choir, one of the leading choirs in the Baltic States.
Later, upon discovering such music styles as disco, house and acid jazz, DJ BEAT realized that his future would definitely be associated with music. 1990 arrived & this was the time when DJ BEAT DJ’d for the first time, playing on "reel to reel” tape recorders in one of Riga’s discotheques called "D’Mix”.
