Abracadabra no es solo una canción pop.
Es un conjuro electrónico, con acordes hipnóticos y una base inspirada en el techno. Sus bailes abruptos y marcados, casi industriales, siguen el pulso de los beats como si revelaran algo oculto: el antiguo secreto de DJ JO.
Sí, así empezó todo.
Mucho antes de los estadios, los vestidos imposibles y la fama global, Lady Gaga era DJ JO, una joven obsesionada con los sintetizadores, el ritmo y la oscuridad de la pista.
En los sótanos de Brooklyn, pinchaba sets crudos, cargados de energía rave y techno sucio. No buscaba hits: buscaba impacto. Fue ahí donde nacieron los primeros bocetos de Just Dance, cuando todavía sonaba más a industrial que a pop comercial.
Se inspiraba en el techno de Detroit, donde también llegó a pinchar, y en el sonido frío y mecánico de Berlín.
Gaga no viene del pop, viene del beat.
Y aunque luego reinventó el mainstream, nunca olvidó sus raíces: ese lugar donde el cuerpo baila solo, la luz es mínima, y el sonido lo es todo.

J’avais pas écouté les sons 10 fois, j’ai rien bossé avant. Juste press play et on voit ce que ça donne.
Pas de set propre, carré, fignolé pendant des semaines. J’suis pas là pour faire un mix parfait, j’suis là pour kiffer et envoyer.

J’en peux plus des sets trop clean, surtravaillés, sans âme. Là c’est brut, instantané, réel.
Et ouais, y a des ratés, mais au moins c’est vivant. Premier essai, une prise, et j’assume tout.

David Schirmeister
 is a Berlin-based producer who pushes the boundaries of techno with uncompromising energy and technical finesse. Since 2016, he has been creating powerful, dark productions in his Berlin studio. Among his defining tracks is “Censored,” which earned him awards in the track contest hosted by Analogue Audio and the SINEE Institute — a testament to his top-level sound design skills. Another notable release is “Drunky K. Kong,” released on his own label 8lackbox, which is currently on pause but continues to bear his signature as a platform for dark, characterful techno.

His music embodies raw energy, depth, and hypnotic sonic journeys. The tracks fully come to life in clubs, taking the audience on unique, intense techno trips. Rather than mere playback of studio recordings, the sets reflect the dynamics and vibe of the night — tailor-made to capture the moment.

David’s productions and sets are regularly played in clubs across Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Portugal.
