Banoffee Pies Records 17th Original Series release comes via a 4 track Solo EP from https://soundcloud.com/gallegos_1991, making a return after his debut EP “Mad As Hell” in 2018. Along with multiple appearances on compilations and other series on the label, this record is a nostalgic reflection of UK club culture. A “Sentiment Of Love” - the EP title and opening track is a tribute to a time.

A positive selection of tracks starting on the A1 with a Winehouse sample, immediately carving the path for what is always a collection of expert sampling from our longest standing label member. The A2 offering, “Put Me In”, is a beating club anthem full of heavy distortion and all the acid lines you’d hope for in a moment at the back of a club. One Mitsy down.

The B1 “Together Flyin’ High” continues this moment with an elevating vocal and ringing synths layered with Broken Beats and the heavily percussive drum patterns Gallegos’ sound is so closely developed around. The last track on the release “Before Or Since”, immediately teleporting you to the end of a night. Something inward, for a time and place, future or past. BPR x

Scottish DJ and production duo Co-Accused return with the second release on their own Co-Accused Records label. The thunderous forthcoming EP,  which drops on the 2nd of September, features four tracks from Sosak, Fear-E, Acidulant and Co-Accused themselves. 

They kick things off with the pounding 'PA2 Crew'. An ode to the hardcore they both loved in their earlier raving days, the title of the track pays homeage to their hometown of Paisley.  Track two comes from Sosak, an alias of Glasgow's Gary Beck. Sosak’s 'Do One' keeps the energy high with pulsating synths and driving drums taking you on a freight train into oblivion. On the flip side, Fear-E delves further into the EP's own cosmic dimension. 'Rhubarb and Custard' is a jackin 'journey filled with melodic elements and chaotic atmospheres. Self-confessed acid freak Acidulant brings the release to a close with the deep, dark and moody 'Drankx'. A hypnotic trip into the void.

People often say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what of a song? Take a single song and show it to a thousand people and you’re bound to get a thousand different interpretations, moods, reactions and opinions. Far Out Radio Systems latest offering aptly named, “Far Out Radio Systems Vol. 03” embodies that theory and more. The four tracks selected stretch from club centric to jungle and there and back again. Each full to the brim with a myriad of emotions and moments. With that being said, we here at Fiction have chosen, “In A Moment of Pure Being (4 A.M. Mix)” to premier in full and what a ride it is.

The track begins, with the sounds of birds chirping. Dipping in, and out of the background, as a lone piano melody floats in the midst. Progressing along, there is tension in the air as the hi-hats and snares come in, quickly followed by the kick and the track is rocketing off. Characteristically of many of his remixes and originals, the drums are in full effect and immediately recognizable and lend a heavy hand to the almost somber feeling of the track. Albeit there is a sense of hope once the melody returns in the second half.

Overall this is another great entry in the legacy of Far Out Radio Systems (aka Kiani and His Legion). This is vinyl only, off of Tanzbar Records, but don’t let that stop you from ordering it. Releases like these don’t come around too often and when they do, you should take note.

David Schunk es un DJ y productor musical originario de Argentina, conocido por su estilo único que fusiona diversos géneros de música electrónica, incluyendo house, techno y tech-house. A lo largo de su carrera, Schunk ha demostrado ser una figura importante en la escena electrónica tanto local como internacional, destacándose por sus sets en vivo, sus producciones originales y su capacidad para conectar con el público a través de la música.

Comenzó su carrera en la música electrónica a una edad temprana, influenciado por las vibraciones del clubbing y la música underground.
