The musical output of London based label Switched On Records has been essential listening for those immersed in the Underground UK house scene for the past couple of years. Their second ever release, from label boss S.E.F, featured the heavyweight track 'M.O.E.' which became an anthem on the London House circuit. Since then the label has gone from strength to strength providing a platform for the wealth of talented, British producers who are pushing the boundaries of the conventional house sound and giving it that UK edge.

Their fifteenth release carries on this tradition with two huge beats from North London-based DJ/Producer Harry Ley. Since bursting on to the UK scene last year, Harry has been making quite a name for himself with releases and remixes dropping on many of big name labels within the London Underground scene.

His latest track 'Somebody' is a high energy number which combines weighty bass stabs with crazy vocal chops to produce a serious piece of dance-floor weaponry which is bound to do some damage in a dance near you soon.

The Deeper Frequencies EP is out on Switched On Records, May 11th.

Mall Girl is a fresh and young Oslo band that has begun to establish themselves as one of the most exciting and promising bands on the the Norwegian pop scene. The band is inspired by everything from from 80s pop to math rock to indie. It all comes together in a playful expression and a liberating attitude towards making music.

A lot has happened since their first concert in February. This summer they played at several festivals including Øyafestivalen, Livestock, Musikkfest, and Oslo jazz festival

The band has also created some buzz through their conceptual image and their energetic live show. The band includes a classic rock band line-up, with gitarist Iver Armand Tandsether, bass player Eskild Myrvoll bass, vocalist Bethany Forseth-Reichberg and drummer Veslemøy Narvesen. Despite the simple line-up, the band has a complex and exciting sound.

DAVID TANKLEFSKY is a songwriter, guitarist, minor league baseball broadcaster, journalist, filmmaker and radio broadcaster from Boston, Massachusetts.

Tanklefsky has been writing songs, recording and touring for the past ten years. His early musical years were spent in Grimis, the band he and his friends formed in high school that gained substantial recognition throughout the northeast, playing at Boston landmarks like the Paradise Rock Club and the Middle East. Grimis toured nationally and still plays a handful of concerts each year. In the fall of 2010, Tanklefsky and Grimis traveled to the village of Kisii, Kenya to record the students at the Margaret Okari School. They produced a two-disc record: “Grimis Presents: I Am the One". They toured the northeast in the spring and fall of 2011, selling the record and screening his documentary about the project. So far, the album has raised more than $10,000 for the Margaret Okari Children's Foundation.

In 2011, Tanklefsky released his first solo EP, The Sun and the Shadows, on New Wheel Records. In April 2014, his first full-length solo album, Be Brave, was released and followed by a U.S. tour.

Tanklefsky has been a featured songwriter at Club Passim’s Campfire Music Festival as well as at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. He has performed with musicians and bands including Zammuto, Thao With the Get Down Stay Down, Apollo Sunshine, State Radio, Savoir Adore, Emil & Friends, The Slip and Piebald.
