Mr. Dam, a Portuguese artist and music producer based in Amsterdam, skillfully blends Electro, DNB, pop, Indie, Techno, along with influences from Retro 90s Sci-fi movie soundtracks and the electronic French music of the 2000s.

Chapeto Records was born as the need to promote the alternative and indie music of all the tendencies that have the artistic intention of exposing an organic musical work and an original and international sound that seeks the ambition to make history with a sound proposal in the market and niche of independent, experimental, alternative and / or avant-garde music.

That is why, since 2018, taking as branch the city of Bogotá - Colombia we have registered the legal entity of the record label and we have proposed with an awareness of good taste and good music to look for new independent and original talents that seek to show the world his music to start a musical career within this special niche.

​As previously stated as a record label, we are looking for indie talents of different styles such as indie rock (of course), electronic music, hip hop, fusion, experimental music among many others.
