Captain Awesome

Arrangement I wrote for Pachelbel's Canon in D. I basically took the chord progression and wrote the arpeggio runs/melodies over them. 

I got the idea from watching an old Jason Becker seminar where he talked about creating arrangements to practice arpeggios.

I arranged, performed and recorded all parts.

I started playing in the mid 80's inspierd primarily by Richie Blackmore. Then i got into Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, TOny Macalpine etc. Then along came Nuno Bettencourt and Richie Kotzen with more of a blues/rock feel which blew me away. Now i am still a big fan of all these guys and of course, more recently Guthrie Govan. At the same time i find myself getting increasingly influenced by the subtlty of guys like eric clapton and dave gilmour. i hope my playing conveys all these influences respectfully. i would be grateful to know what you think of my uploads.
