Ghanaian-born, New York-based musician, composer and producer Blitz the Ambassador is poised to take the music scene by storm this spring with the release of his third studio album AFROPOLITAN DREAMS April 28 on Jakarta Records. 

The 12-track album is an intoxicating collection showcasing Blitz’s penchant for old school NY hip hop with the indelible influences of Fela Kuti and other Afrobeat icons and at the center of it all, his masterful lyrical flow. The album skillfully captures the immigrant journey as experienced by Blitz himself with the help of guests such as Seun Kuti, Nneka, Oxmo Puccino and Angelique Kidjo.

DJ passionné depuis les années 90, DaVinz connait ses premières parties avec les TNT, LSDF, Flyoske et autres Contaminés et commence à jouer dans les bars, les salles et clubs de la région Montpelliéraine où il distille une techno tribale et énergique à souhait. 

Il part ensuite vivre en Angleterre, et, fort de ses rencontres humaines et musicales, il fondera à son retour le collectif Médecins Du Son (MDS sound system) sous le pseudonyme Vinzomatoze. 

Puis il devient membre actif des Kromozohm (KMZ) aux côtés de Ouapapeur, D'homicide (Geomatrix) et PKE (Embuscade records / turnover). 
Avec sa tribe résolument cérébrale. Il jouera aux côtés des grands noms de la scène underground comme Suburbass, Alextrem, Vinka, Ralph, Missill, Gui-two... enchaînant parties, bars, clubs et émissions de radio (KPR / LSDF, FM+...). 

Toujours dans le partage, il est aujourd'hui capable de jouer tout un éventail de sons en passant par le funk ou l'electro-swing comme de vous ramener aux plus belles heures de la free party !
