Obsessively looking to find ways to create a cerebral connection between human and sound. KÖNIG productions mainly focus on hard, dark, driving techno made and performed live on various hardware as well as DAWs and controllers. 
Expect relentless, dark, industrial machine noise combined with orchestral, otherwordly soundscapes. Man and machine exploring the organic, evolving creation of sound live and in the moment. Drawing upon an eclectic range of musical influences, productions, live performances and Dj sets aim to take the listener on a journey and create that connection. 
Hugely influenced by the Birmingham techno sound and the legendary club the Orbit. Artists like Surgeon, Regis, Luke Slater, Ben Sims and Dave Clarke have been a constant benchmark and source of inspiration. 
A love for music and its creation started from a young age. Growing up to the sound of opera, classical and the likes of Erasure, the Eurythmics and the Prodigy. A passion for electronic music was being nurtured. After honing his Dj skills on technics 1210s in the early noughties, mixing tracks just wasn’t enough anymore. 
A second hand Korg ES1 sampler was to start a never ending obsession with hardware music production and a life long lesson in electronics, circuit design and sound creation. Collecting electronic instruments. Always learning, integrating new machines, constantly experimenting with new set ups, audio and midi routings. Utilising analogue and digital machines, hardware and software and anything at his disposal in the eternal quest for sonic perfection. 
DJing and performing live since 2008, König has had the pleasure of gracing the same decks as some of his idols. With regular guest mixes for national and international radio stations and channels. 
Fnoob techno resident with Eleven Eleven the hardware techno show. Particular highlights include fulfilling a dream of playing for the legendary Leeds club night the Orbit at the wire a year before it closed its doors, and DJing alongside many incredible artists such as Ben Sims, Mark Broom, Mal Hombre, Mike Humphries, DKult, Nuno Clam, James Jaymal, KAR-L , No Deffy, Inlimen and Kasaya.
