Rhythm of The Day” tem produção e composição de Serge e foi gravada durante um período de três dias, reforçando as sonoridades synth-pop e darkwave que marcam seus trabalhos anteriores. “É uma música que fala de processos da vida, de caminhada, evolução. Ela retrata um momento meu mais diurno, no qual eu priorizo o dia como momento de socialização e vejo mais graça no dia-a-dia do que na loucura da noite”, explica ele, que escreveu a letra pensando em processos pessoais de amadurecimento. 

Em relação à sonoridade, Serge define a faixa como “um passeio em um bosque enevoado em que uma pessoa conduz a outra a um destino desconhecido, mas irresistível”. “A ideia era criar uma sonoridade misteriosa. Criei essa faixa em meados de 2011 e deixei ela de lado, mas recentemente resolvi criar uma letra nova por achar a base boa. O primeiro loop da música foi puxando todo o resto, daí entrou a bateria, o arpejo, os instrumentos e encaixei a percussão. Quis fazer algo espacial e soturno ao mesmo tempo, principalmente no refrão”, diz Serge, que resgatou influências que vão de Depeche Mode a Chromatics, de Pink Industry a Chris Isaak e Soft Cell.

BIOGRAPHY:
When kindred souls meet across generations, the result of such cultural crossbreeding is often interesting, sometimes good and, if they really connect on different levels, mesmerizing. 
As is the case for NE, the collaboration between Dirk Da Davo - he of THE NEON JUDGEMENT fame - and Glenn Keteleer  a- relentless dark techno producer with two albums and a string of EP's under his belt. There is common ground, of course: both already co-produced tracks with the likes of The Hacker, David Carretta and Millimetric, and made applauded appearances on Dave Clarke's 'White Noise Radio' playlists. 
But perhaps even more significant: both share a dystopian view on present and future, where it's open season for governments and multinational corporations that seem to have received a license to kill the privacy and freedom of the individual, and a mutual sonic understanding that includes pounding beat bonanzas next to brooding krautrock, marshy soundscapes and twisted dub. So yes, it's dark.  And loud. But it's a darkness with a loudly beating heart. Pretty? No. 
Hauntingly beautiful? Absolutely.

Some people waste all their days complaining about the smallest things that don't matter, even in the short-term. If the biggest problems in your life are that you've run out of deoderant or you've only got one slice of bread left, you're doing alright. There's no point in complaining about anything - if something truly does grind your gears then you should get out there and actually do something about it, rather than pulling your neck back into your shell and grumbling to yourself.
