Hubert Eddy is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer of Irish-Pakistani heritage. Growing up in England, he spent most of his years in the West Midlands, before making the move to Wuhan, China where he now resides. His songwriting style has origins of western traditional English/ Irish style folk and American blues, to more contemporary sounds of folk rock, with added eastern influences. 
 
Hubert Eddy’s songwriting has been described as introspective, at times dark, nostalgic and thought-provoking. His lyrics often explore aspects of loss and longing, to subjects of books he's read, or people he's met. As a producer he strives towards a classic sound, always pushing his process to new heights. His main influences come from the sounds and compositions of the likes of Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and John Lennon to name a few.
