Hard to Find is a raw, emotionally charged EP from Dayah Modo that blends atmospheric electronic textures with driving beats and haunting melodies. Across its tracks, the EP explores themes of longing, self-discovery, and the elusive nature of connection in a digital, fast-moving world.

Each track feels like a late-night confession—moody yet powerful, intimate but made to move. With influences ranging from underground techno to synth-pop and experimental electronica, Hard to Find invites listeners into a cinematic soundscape where vulnerability meets rhythm.

More than just a collection of songs, this EP is a mirror to the inner world—restless, reflective, and always reaching for something just out of reach.

Hard To Find

A Producer and DJ, Dayah Modo calls New York City home by way of Europe. When she’s not performing in her dazzling mirrored costumes she spends time in her home studio creating hypnotic deep house and electronic music.

A spin-off of the Japanese word for diamond, Dayah Modo landed in New York in 2013 after spending over a decade touring Europe as a singer. In 2020 Dayah Modo decided to reignite her music career, this time as a DJ with a masked persona inspired by musical influence Daft Punk.

Under the tutelage of hip-hop legend DJ Dummy the Genius, Dayah Modo fearlessly followed her dream of learning to DJ during the pandemic and within a few months was already producing music. After releasing her first single ‘Pink Sea’ in 2021 to positive reception Dayah Modo continues to explore and expand the electronic music genre bringing all the downtempo and chill vibes from her uniquely eclectic perspective.
