J-DiA was born from a shared passion to spread God’s message of grace and living hope to young people through music. The name is a fusion of Jan and Nadia, symbolizing “God is gracious” and “Hope.” We intentionally kept the ‘i’ lowercase in J-DiA to remind ourselves that our purpose is to glorify God, not ourselves, echoing John the Baptist’s words in John 3:30: “He must become greater; I must become less.”

In 2006, with limited resources but a clear mission, we began producing Sanctified Electronic Dance Music. Our journey has been inspired by trailblazing local Christian artists like UWJ, MIC, JC-Culture, and Innervision—pioneers who shaped the Christian EDM scene and fueled our vision to make His name known.

Influenced by the unique stylings of musicians as diverse as Ornette Coleman, the Grateful Dead, Brian Eno, and Jefferson Airplane, SpiceHouse is a foray into world beats, acid and traditional jazz forms, and jammed-out trip hop grooves, filtered through the aural prism of Barbarian Lovers and Smoke Ring Days, the band‘‘s previous rock and folk-rock incarnations. Citing the works of groundbreaking artists from the avant-garde jazz scene of the 1950s to modern day electronica pioneers, SpiceHouse has quickly become a favorite of downloaders. Stand-out performances by R&B/funk musician John Scarpulla (John Hiatt, B.B. King, Robert Cray, et al) on alto and soprano sax accent SpiceHouse‘s studio work. The band’’s sound blurs the boundaries between radio-friendly rock and extended improvisational explorations. From upbeat polyrhythmic syncopations to meandering, mystical soundscapes, Spicehouse mixes music from many eras and styles, from ancient ecclesiastical modes to twelve tone atonal music to modern ambient music and various world and electronic grooves, the latter a focal point of their newest side project, Sinfonia Electronique.


Born and raised in Manhattan on the Upper East Side, Odyssey began spinning in 1982. His passion for music started at an early age and his musical background is deeply rooted in the sounds of Disco, R & B, Soul, Funk, Jazz and Latin music. 

In 1992 Odyssey became one of the original members of NYC’s infamous Digital Konfusion crew, a collaboration of DJs, artists and dancers. Still going strong today they continue to be a major force in the dance, music and art culture of NYC as well as abroad, where they’ve maintained a particulary strong presence in the Austrian music scene for the last decade, regularly broadcasting Digital Konfusion radio on fm4.orf.at

In addition to performing at parties and venues coast to coast in the U.S, Odyssey completed five city tours in Austria and France. Locally, he has played at legendary NYC nightclubs such as Roxy, Roseland, Limelight, The Shelter, Tunnel, Twilo, Carbon and Centro Fly to name a few,  performing alongside other highly respected artists such as Afrika Bambaatta, Jazzy Jay, Pal Joey, Eric Morillo, Little Louie Vega, Roy Davis Jr., Frankie Bones, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Benji Candelario, Baby Hec Romero . . . the list goes on.

The millennium marked the release of Odyssey’s first 4 records and his involvement with Liquid Sky, a major influence in the evolution of NYC’s music, fashion and event culture. Since then he’s continued to play an active role in local music and dance culture, both as a DJ, producer, and NYC icon. With 28 years of experience Odyssey is considered one of New York City's most versatile DJs, mixing different sets from Disco, Funk, Soul, R & B, Nu Wave, House, Hip-Hop, Techno, Electro, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Break Beats flawlessly. To truly appreciate Odyssey’s talent both in terms of technical skill, musical selection, and the crowd’s enthusiasm, you just have to witness his performance for yourself.

Eddie’s talented fingers hit the piano at age 5 and during his 50 year plus musical career, he has toured with the bands; High Velocity and Surprize from North Jersey and The Ebonys from Philadelphia where he was their Musical Director & Lead Keyboard Player. 

As a successful songwriter, his R&B song "When The Love Is Gone" written with lyricist Jacquie Germany, is featured on an Ebonys album.  In 1992, his "Songs to the Fire" New Age relaxation album was released in NJ, PA, CT, NY with sales of more than 1100 units and selected by the American Cancer Society to help patients who were undergoing chemotherapy treatments.  In 2008 his composition “Day of Remembrance” was accepted into the National September 11 Memorial Museum Artist Registry and is currently included as part of “Fascination: Helena’s Story” documentary soundtrack, about one woman's determination to survive the Holocaust.  

As a professional keyboard player, songwriter, arranger and musical director, he is an extremely versatile composer of Instrumental, New Age, Jazz, Latin, Country, R&B, Ballads and Soundtrack music all part of his 100+ music catalog using  a variety of unique sounds on keyboards, acoustic and digital piano. 

Eddie retired from the teaching profession in 2017 after 37 years as a NJ Music Teacher for public and charter schools, as well as a Corporate Software Trainer. His new career path entitled “Eddie & The Keys,” is a two-act show combining popular and original songs, plus a unique audience request section enhanced by his signature orchestration using synthesizers and digital piano!
