People kept asking me to make a Megalovania mashup, so I decided to claw my brain and think of something. This is the result.

Waters Of Megalovania

Following the single, "You Can't Escape Me," this EP is written about the two brothers from the game, Five Nights at Freddy's 4. A tragic tale of bullying results in the death of the younger sibling. 
"Too Far" is written from the point of view of the older brother immediately after the accident that took his little brother's life, this song opens more of that character than the game gives.

This song follows along the nights that the younger brother experienced leading up to the accident. He was constantly haunted and tormented by animatronics in his house. But the game leaves the players to question if they were simply hallucinations, dreams, or a cruel reality.

Remember the "man with the machine gun" cover me and Mr. Alek collaborated on? Well! Here's our second, and boy is it a big one! This was planned several months back when Mr. Alek first suggested it.

Where the original intention was rock, we both agreed that a bigband cover with the element of rock seemed to be the perfect fit for this tune where we could mesh our styles together.

Because I had the most instruments to work with in this cover having the guitar play the majority of the melody in this one really helped giving this a different tone, and boy, did he deliver.

“Don’t Know What To Do” is the first Undertale song that I’ve released! Dedicated to Asriel in the small moment he turns back into his normal self before giving Fisk a hug and disappearing. This song was actually a personal song of mine that I wrote in 2015 and it wouldn’t be until 2017 that I realized it would have made for a great Undertale song! So I brought CG5 on board as a collaborator to take the song to the next level with this electric style! This is the first song that I’ve sung falsetto on (that high voice) so I hope you like it! If you stay till the end or read this you’ll find out this is PART 1 of a 2 part series of Undertale songs/music videos! This is probably one of my favorite songs.This song started off as one I’d learned from a video-game (the Pokémon series) and with time I wanted to learn how to play it on the piano.  The original song was called Temporal Tower, which the title of my remix shares with it, except that’s really the only thing they share.  The idea of a song, is that the entire world is beginning to break down as time slowly begins to stop.  The only way to stop the end of time is to ascend the Tower that shares its name - Temporal Tower - and play this melody at the tower’s peak before the entire world is left in a paralyzed state with the end of time where our planet stops rotating and everyone is petrified in place.

The opening for about the first 24 measures is very similar to the original.  However the original was composed in E minor, and I settled on transposing my remix to F# minor.  The reason for this change is the title being the “Nightcore Version,” of my original remix.  In gaming communities, I’ve learned that Nightcore is usually a term for any song that has been raised up a few keys as well as having a faster tempo.  The original setting for this song was that the tempo was 132 and the key was in E minor, with this version being in F# and at a tempo of 150. A nightcore version of this song gives in the idea that the situation is dire, and that there isn’t any time to lose.

The major differences from the original is that everything between measures 25-41 is my own solo based off the four repeating the chords from the first 24 measures.  Measures 41-65 are a based around a motif that plays throughout the game as well as during its final boss fight.  Lastly, measures 57-81 are a remix of a theme from a main character in one of the old movies that the pokemon series aired over a decade ago.  This character was largely associated with the ocean, who had a song dedicated to his name.  In the movie, the idea was that if the world ever entered a state of peril, that one should call on this character’s spirit by playing his song and he would come to save them, and that’s why I also named this song “The Ocean’s Plight”.  In full, this remix is a mashup of my love for the pokemon series, and how I’ve heard it develop over the years.
