Death by Misadventure or DbyM (pronounced dee-by-em) is a 2-piece electronic dance outfit made up of producer/songwriting team Isaac Klawansky and Tamara Dey. 

They describe their sound as alternative electronica with influences ranging from hip-hop and electro to pop and techno.

Their debut album ‘Dumb Dumb’ is set to be released on ITunes worldwide on the 29th of April 2013 through SA indie label Just Music.

The album which came about almost accidentally in the spare bedroom of their flat in Craighall Park Johannesburg was later co-produced and mixed by acclaimed Pretoria based musician and producer Peach van Pletzen at Sleeproom Studios. 

The cherry on top was having the album mastered by LA based mastering engineer Dave Cooley at Elisian Masters, who has worked with some of the bands greatest influences including The Presets and M83.
