Secquoia After leaving the Chicago based group CTB, Secquoia found himself becoming much more than anyone can imagine. Using his unique personality & holistic awareness, Secquoia becomes what one would call a explosion of fire. Think of fireworks mixed with an ocean of eccentric soul vibes when listening to his music. The voice of spoken word artist combined with the fiery passion of a battle rapper, Secquoia creates a genre like not other. Hip-Hop Spoken-word Rap would be the best way to identify with what to expect hear from him. While his collaborations put in him a position to where he doesn’t fit in just “one” category ranging from  ,  ,  ,  , &    His first studio project which at the time he went by ‘Marz’ is the revolutionary uplifting 90’s hip-hop work of art: ‘7 Principles’. It immediately got him attention & noticed within the holistic communities ranging from MI, IN, OH, and his home state IL. He performed at his first festival ‘Project Earth 2019: Romerdome Familia in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Right after performing at Crystal Quest: Crystal & Gem Festival in Southern Illinois. While still performing in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.   His most recent & new project ‘And So It Spreads’ is scheduled for release in early May. This will be an album bringing a new wave & genre so to say; Gothic Soul Trap Hip-Hop & Rap. It’s loud. It’s different. It’s dark. It’s real. It’s contagiously creatively made.
