We are an exciting band in the Boston area. We create a unique sound by blending elements of blues with progressive, alternative, and psychedelic rock.

Rick Barton is an American songwriter based out of Portland ME via Boston MA. Barton is best known for co-founding Boston classics such as The Outlets, Dropkick Murphys, Everybody Out and Continental. He has produced and co-written with Street Dogs and FM-359.

It has been a long time coming, but the o'l troubadour is finally releasing his debut solo album, "Nowhere Man" November 17, 2023.

Hi folks, I'm singing and playing bass & lead geetar on this stuff.  Will indicate when I'm not.  Like, when I'm home watching horror movie reaction vids on Youtube?  Will indicate that. Maybe.

All songs on the "Unleashed" album were engineered and produced by legendary, Grammy Award-winning record producer Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, The Pixies, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Dinosaur Jr, Hole, Duran Duran, etc.).  We are Key of Caustic, an original punk rock band from Boston.  Welcome to our "idea board" and we were probably piss drunk at the time. We take you to the place where love has died. Then we sit at the bar stool and we write songs about the it. Channeling our inner Loretta and Lucinda.

Due to the increasingly oversaturated music market of today and the subsequent stimulation overload, it is hard for music to be truly heard.

We believe the effort is worth it.

We play raw hard rock music with an emphasis on melody and lyrics. We love gritty, heavy, and distorted sounds. We are influenced by the grunge movement, as well as blues, metal, pop, and punk. Coming from a variety of musical backgrounds, the four of us work hard to create something new and honest.

Members of Christie Prince met while performing around Boston in 2009/10 as members of the band Seven Shades of Grey. After performing at venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe, The Middle East, TT the Bears, O’Briens Pub, and Plough and Stars, being finalists in the UnRegular Radio Rompetition 2011, enjoying two residencies at Precinct Bar, and touring part of the Summer of 2011, SSoG went on indefinite hiatus.

A new band was born.

The intentions for this band are pretty simple. Raw energy. Passion. Grit. And rock.
