The unique musical compositions in the song titled “Portals (Radio Edit)” on the bands 2nd studio album titled "Portals" is designed to transport the listener through an extra-dimensional audio experience that is achieved by a culmination of catchy club, and dance beats that are only expanded by the further spontaneous trance musical scores with natural acoustic and electric guitar rock riffs. 

The force and drive behind the music is evident by the underlying use of electronic dance vibes. Center Mass engineers sequence powerful layered audio stems, by balancing amazing earth sound and space-scapes that ultimately combine the music concepts of "artistification" (derived from sonification), all designed to transport and uplift the human spirit.

This track was originally a poem and I asked my collaborator and producer, Josh Elliott, to come up with a sound like a cross between Celtic Music and Triphop.

Comely, alive,

Psychedelic garments,
Flashback to dreams,
Speaking in Shelta—
All is not quite what it seems.

The goddess always at my door

Her forest dweller’s third eye glints.

Renounce, surrender, 
No more maudlin times in need;
Hurly-burly mischief making
The goddess will not feed...
As she follows me closely
Through the fjords of my heart
Firewood for the soul,
Its knowledge she’ll impart.

Center Mass Universe seamlessly blends moody post-rock, trance, and electronica, creating a distinctive and transcendent sound. CMU uses natural & electronic musical instruments, multi layered acoustic and electric guitars, synthesizers, piano, bass, natural and electric drum mixes to create a masterful movement, composition, and engineering timing.
