Introducing our new podcast series Cued Up - listen back to our recent virtual chat with none other than Dublin’s own DJ and Producer, R.kitt.

R.Kitt is a DJ/producer from Dublin who has been making music for the last decade and has played extensively on the Irish festival and club circuit, including international gigs in London and Berlin. He’s also well known for hosting a local collective night called Dip with friends Cáit, Enda and Jenn, in a community arts space called Jigsaw. With a string of EP releases on local and international labels to his name, his focus has recently shifted to working alongside Sunil Sharpe on the Give Us the Night campaign since 2018. Over the next few months, he hopes to work on building a sound system and look into alternative spaces where people can gather and listen to electronic music. As well as this, if the pandemic anxiety allows for it, hopefully, he’ll release some more music and share a few mixes that aim to get you moving a bit faster on your bike. 

Robbie chats to Robert and Rossa from the society, focusing on topics in the nightlife industry such as mental health, writer’s block, the Give Us The Night campaign, as well a few funny stories from over the years. The closing mix is provided by our own society member Mark Colclough.
