Cinthie’s knack for club-focused grooves has been demonstrated countless times in recent years and needs no introduction. Her next single for Aus - 'City Lights’ - was a vinyl only exclusive from her debut album of the same name and features remixes from fellow Süd-Deutsch natives Gerd Janson and Damiano Von Erckert who both deliver hi-end peak time mixes. Keeping it in the family Wanderist rounds of the package with some of that deep-spacey electro flavour.

We premiere one half of Dam Swindle, Wanderist's remix who approaches his re-imagination with an electro spin, cleverly warping the original elements into regenerated melodic twists and turns. A lovely track and amazing remix package.

Exclusive: Felice - Leaving Trails

Live At Robert Johnson continues to deliver the (Italo) Disco goodies with the release of Felice's Infinite Suburbia EP. The four tracker is altogether provided with two original tracks, Infinite Suburbia and Leaving Trails, while the EP's eponymous track comes with an instrumental version and a remix from Lauer. The B1, Leaving Trails, covers various musical influences and is seemingly more dark and clubby as Infinite Suburbia. However, the track takes the same (positive) summer route as the title track and has unbeatable intriguing chords that awake the dreamer in every dancefloor romancer, the shuffling hi-hats add a pushing feel, namely that of moving your shoulders in the beat of the groove with closed eyes to give in to the chord sequences.

Felice's EP Infinite Suburbia will be released on Live At Robert Johnson on July 30th, 2021.

PREMIERE: Kraymon - This feeling

'For twenty years, Dynarec has been pushing the boundaries of electro on some of the best known labels. Little will his listeners know, there is another side to this prolific French producer’s machines. Speakwave is a lesser known, and heard, moniker of this analogue artist and the debut vinyl release of this nom de plume is set for release on Bordello A Parigi. Fans of the Dynarec sound are treated to the same wonderous compositions and melodic structures with something else added. “Cartographic Venture” is a ten minute introduction to this new style. Crisp drum patterns support cold flourishes and stabbing synthlines before distant vocals arrive. The track balances the frostier edges of electronics and wave to create a lonesome and longing synth pop ballad. “Coming On Monday” has a different energy. The pop element of the predecessor remains, lyrics are vocoder dipped while confident key shifts are countered by strong rhythm patterns. The closer, like the 12”, defies definition. Burbling notes and sharp snares give an edge to “Exposition To Revolution”, but there is also a more inviting nurturing side coming through in the spiralling skyward melody. A release that shows another fascinating side of this multifaceted musician.'

Originally written and produced as the centrepiece to his 2014 FabricLive compilation, Erol Alkan’s ‘Sub Conscious' arrives on 12” vinyl and to streaming platforms for the first time, accompanied by two charismatic remixes from Manfredas.

Shimmering and undulating, the original cut of ‘Sub Conscious’ was designed with Fabric’s cavernous main room in mind, taking full advantage of any finely-tuned soundsystem with a patient, rhythmic trip. Remastered here, the track evolves out of hazy darkness towards halcyon euphoria in a uniquely Alkan style.

Resident at Opium Club in Vilnius, cult DJ and producer Manfredas provides two hugely creative and alternative takes on ‘Sub Conscious’. The first works hallucinatory magic with a supple bassline and much of Alkan’s original stretched and repurposed around vampish oscillations and a westward vocal sample.

On the contrary, the ‘Stream Of Consciousness' mix sees Manfredas pitch down and strum the bones of ‘Sub Conscious’, unexpectedly delivering a lovingly lethargic, bottom-heavy jam that’s pure dubside pleasure.
