At this point in time last year we were at our 5th release and slowing things down for 2012, here we are a year later with triple the output of 2011. This time around we have a very special artist who goes by Waldo. This man hails from Grand Rapids, MI and was undeniably put to our attention by our very own Sango. We remember when Sango first mentioned Waldo to us and told us that this dude was the truth. Of course we took his word, but how many great upcoming MC's do you really know? It wasn't until Sango sent us 'Poison' and 'Scars' that we realized there was someone and something much more than just another MC, another artist, and another release. We knew Waldo was special and that we had to connect our platform to his mind and Sango's production. Here we are today a few months down the line and happier than ever to be able to provide you one of the illest releases this year. Keep in mind that Waldo is only 20 years old. He has so much potential to evolve into that Man that we hear in him at this very moment. The future is infinite for him. Please enjoy this and spread it to everyone.

Sivey recently hit us with the edit of Frank O's 'Pink Matter' and as soon as we hit play we knew it was a classic refix. Whether you've heard of Sivey or not, he is one of the best in the world. He has one of the most refreshing production styles. At the moment he is working on a collaboration with Evil Needle and is also working on his solo EP that is scheduled to release early 2013 on Soulection. Please pay attention.

Here are some words from the man himself:

"What's up people, my name is Sivey, I'm a producer/remixer/beatmaker from the UK. The idea to remix "Pink Matter" came to me before I'd even finished listening to the original track for the first time. The bluesy, melancholic chords were screaming at me to throw some synths on them and see what happened. Originally I had planned to make an instrumental edit, just looping the intro riff as a sample, but as the original track is quite minimal I tried applying my parts over the whole song which worked surprisingly well. Arranging my production around the vocals resulted in a gradual "slow-burn" build-up that hopefully reflects the growing intensity of the original piece. I hope you enjoy the track."
