Hilltown Disco celebrate 5 years with a star-studded compilation of artists that have featured and helped shape the label over the past half decade.

They dedicate this release to the legend, Wibo Lammerts who sadly passed away during the production of the record. Fly high, brother.

On the A-side of the vinyl Hilltown Disco welcome back w1b0 and the excellent, Ole Mic Odd, who offer crunchy, dark electronics, perfectly sewn together, producing two future classics, with their bass-heavy electro.

Flip to the B-side and the record ups tempo, with the first track from Larionov & St. Theodore that showcases their slick, punchy electro productions, followed by a spiraling, hypnotic, machine-funk weapon by the brilliant PRZ. The record finishes with Robyrt Hecht's stripped-back electro track with classic Hecht, signature, captivating vocals.

If CDMUSIC008 was the party, this is the after-party.  CDMUSIC009 captures the pulsating energy and innovative soundscapes that have defined the genre for decades. Each artist on the compilation brings their unique perspective, blending classic electro elements with contemporary production techniques to create a sonic experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.  With tracks by Greazus, Footclan, label boss Sharkki and a handful of new comers, listeners can expect a journey through the rich tapestry of Detroit & Chicago electro history, paying tribute to the visionaries who paved the way while introducing exciting new voices to the genre.

Dawn Razor and Archetech, two friends and two-thirds of the once-active trio Sonnen Blumen Kerne, have collaborated to deliver an album of tracks previously released exclusively on vinyl through Dawn Razor’s NARA Records. When Lobster Theremin ceased operations, the stock of these releases was lost, leaving only brief preview snippets online.

Adam approached HOMAGE with the story and shared the tunes with us. Moved by the situation, we decided to release all of the tracks as a retrospective album. Thus, 'Half Life' was born—a collection of 10 tracks that blur the boundaries between slammin' electro, breakbeat, and mutated bass, all with a minimalist edge.

G-Vampires Corp. - Yeah No

I'm back with Cyclonix tracks of broken bassy beats for the dance floor add to the ASCII TrAX series. Both are programmed around their beats and a vocal sample and then layered with various synths, on a dnb bruk type of tip.

With Sustainist I've played around with some soundclash and tribal chant vocals and on Hi Life its a garage vocals.

Anyways hope you dig this music. Gonna look at some physical formats, Maybe some lathe cut vinyl if there is interest.

You remember that night when we rocked out hard to a dark techno set at 3am and then went back to the camp to chillout, and then went to look for a friend at that same stage, but by then a new deejay was playing straight vibes like this happy uplifting rave music, and that (e) we forgot we took an hour ago all of a sudden kicked in and we found our friends and ran into our other friends and everybody was smiling and I shat my pants?  Yeah that night.
