We compose music for film & television, series, documentaries, theatre, commercials and artists. Our work covers a lot of ground - from classical songwriting to electronic music - as well as orchestral and abstract-experimental film scores. Inside our Cologne-based studios, we have been producing music for many motion pictures and TV shows since 2000.
Since early May 2013, Cassis B. Staudt has been running the DÜRBECK & DOHMEN office in New York City. From there, she aims to connect us with directors and producers in North America.
At the Filmfest Valencia, we were awarded the film music award for "Magic Eye" and in 2008 we received the film music award at the prestigious Max Ophuls Festival for "Selbstgesprache". The Movie "Chandani: The Daughter Of The Elephant Whisperer", for which we scored the music, won the German Film Award LOLA in the category "Best Chlidren's movie".
As musicians, we are active in various bands and projects.
