Percussion: tried but didn't like it. Try again later ;-)

Mixer: API 24 channel summing mixer (8200/7800)
Stereo Bus processing (API EQ and API compressor)
Final mix down to a MARA MCI JH110 1/4inch 2-track at 15 ips using ATR Master Tape.

Rain delay

Dark Matter is all around us.....recent evidence indicates that the Perseus Galaxy cluster (pictured) is held together by the stuff! 
Dark Matter's gravity effects may be responsible for many unexplained mysteries....who knows?

Flute ensemble with dark clarinets.
Tenor sax bursts (left channel)
Alto sax improvisation (right)
Soprano sax ensemble.. fanfares and themes.
Amalgamated dance beats throughout.

Nous ne prenons pas assez soin de notre belle et unique planète et si nous ne faisons pas attention, nous risquons de disparaître. Toutes les guerres doivent être bannies de notre monde ! Rien n'est perdu car "Un voyage de mille lieues commence toujours par un premier pas" - Lao-Tseu.

It was suggested to me to associate "The Final Straight Line" with a poem, time passed and I took a text "Same Planet" sung by Cecilia.

Mood Exhibit - Building a Shelter

Built around a recording of an alarm forming the audio background to a hospital visit. Musings on dementia.

Turbulent word streams, erratic coherence
Urgent meanings frustratingly mislaid
Inner sense to outer muddle [innocence]
Interface to inner struggle [in your face]
Fragmented paranoia, translucent target, floating beyond the grasp of balanced conscience
Unviolated nuance beyond interpretation
Disjointed intelligence, resentful agitation

Agitation

The great hunter in exile? There are different versions of how Orion the voracious hunter of Greek mythology came to hang in the sky as a constellation. Possibly as a reward by Zeus or maybe a punishment by his 'ex' Artemis for his evil doings...having been previously blinded by the king of Chios for trying it on with his daughter...he then stepped on a scorpion which finished him off! Hero or villain he was blasted into space and remains with a great close-up view of the amazing Horsehead nebula (pictured).

Wind Ensemble:
Flute blues intro.
Flute trio with soprano sax soloing.
Clarinet bassline.
Oboes, Clarinet, Soprano sax section.
Flute finale for Soprano sax solo.
