The world is burning, and I'm not even sure how it started
I heard some person spilled the midnight oil onto the carpet
Of their apartment - others say an arsonist sparked it
Some even swear that it's been there since Adam fell from the garden, but I
Know that's a myth cuz I was in that crowded theater
When somebody shouted "fire" and no one around believed her
We were cave dwellers - sitting comfortably
Till I saw my shadow start to flicker on the seat in front of me

We watched the city being charred, and passed incinerated cars

On the CNN feed like they were written in the stars

Since that night I've changed - I quit romantic interactions

I'm worried for him but I'll be the first to admit

Or "how to get the perfect smokey eye naturally"

To mask annoying gas leaks while you Postmates groceries"

exe and aadams spot a rocketship and small figure in the distance. upon approaching it they discover a boy with a hammer appearing to be repairing the rocketship. he suspiciously introduces himself as sin. exe and aadams ask sin if he knows anything about the lab exe woke up from or where they are. sin replies that, to his knowledge, the planet is abandoned - save for some areas of wilderness. he tells them that his reason for even being on the planet at all was that he stopped there to find fuel and parts for his damaged rocketship. exe and aadams ask sin if they can accompany him off the planet. he says he can drop them off at the next planet over on the way to his actual destination.
