“Broken Nature” is an experimental soundscape that blends the unpredictable, raw energy of the Volca Modular with the rhythmic textures of the Volca Sample and the TRACK 1
The track captures the essence of nature’s chaotic beauty, where moments of disarray seamlessly merge with organic harmony. 
The modular’s erratic pulses and the sample’s structured beats create a unique auditory experience that feels both wild and naturally cohesive.

This piece reflects the fragility of our profound nature, which is inherently good but can be pushed to its limits, leading us to act irrationally. 
“Broken Nature” symbolizes this delicate balance, portraying how the pressures of life can distort our natural state, yet still produce something uniquely beautiful and resonant.

A collaboration with Simon Reuben White. Using stems from the original Kite Strings session. Simon Reuben White crafted a windy and moving atmosphere to support the kite. DD added some beat loops and background synths to keep it flying.

In Kansk, a weathered industrial city in Siberia, there stands an unmarked diner on Proletarskaya Street that the locals call "Posledniy Uzhin" (The Last Supper). From the outside, it appears ordinary – peeling blue paint, foggy windows, and a perpetually flickering neon sign. But those who enter seeking their final meal are greeted by an elderly woman with silver hair and eyes that have witnessed a thousand departures.

The diner operates on an unspoken agreement with local authorities. Those who come here have made their choice, and Galina serves them their last meal with dignity. Each patron receives a small red token upon entering – their tacit acknowledgment of what's to come. The menu never changes: borscht, pelmeni, kotlety, and her signature cherry varenye, each dish prepared with the care of a mother cooking for her child one last time.
