He began his music career in 2023, blending English, Yoruba, Igbo, and French to create a unique, genre-fusing sound that resonates with a diverse audience. Known for his emotional storytelling and powerful messages, De Wave released his debut album Rap Like De Wave in 2024, followed by standout singles like “Love Tension,” “Pray,” and “Father Told Me.”
He is the founder of De Wave Music (DWM) and refers to his growing fan base as “De Wavers.” In early 2025, he was honored with a Certificate of Recognition from Google for his impact as a music artist and content creator.
